Your customer plans the production cell in the browser; the system checks collisions, simulates throughput and returns a priced bill of materials. The code is yours.
● Factory3D, live demo by GroDev
Every enquiry goes back to engineering for a drawing, an equipment list and a cost estimate. Visual CPQ moves the first pass to the customer, inside guardrails you define, so a complete and buildable spec arrives instead of "how much does it cost".
The customer assembles a cell from conveyors, a robot and a case packer out of your catalogue of real equipment, in real-time 3D in the browser.
The layout is checked for collisions and safety-zone clearances as it is built, so an impossible or unsafe configuration cannot be submitted.
A simulation shows the expected throughput and the bottleneck, so the customer sizes the line correctly before anyone draws a thing.
The finished layout returns a bill of materials priced to your rules, plus an engineering-review request. A starting point, not an empty inbox.
This is my own demonstrator, built so the mechanics stop being a promise. Open it, drop in conveyors, a robot and a packer, watch the collision checks fire, run the throughput and read the priced bill of materials. No sign-up.
factory3d.grodev.pl →A fixed price after a scoping call, not a range with a hidden "from". One-off, no subscription, the code is yours.
A cell configurator with collision and safety checks, a throughput simulation and a priced bill of materials, wired into your quoting flow.
Multiple line types or plants, deep ERP and PLM integration, an operator console and custom engineering logic.
For reference: enterprise CPQ and industrial configurators routinely run past €100,000 in licences and integration, year after year. A one-off build you own removes the recurring licence entirely. Full custom-vs-SaaS breakdown on the main configurator page.
A short note on your machines or lines and how you quote them today is enough. I reply within 48h with a fixed quote and a timeline, or an honest "this is not for me".
