For packaging manufacturers

Every quote is a run size, a spec and a die-line.

Packaging is bought by the thousand, with the unit price falling as the run grows. Pricing it over email, chasing the die-line and the artwork, is slow on both sides. A configurator turns that into a self-serve quote that arrives production-ready.

Shape, colour, finish in 3D

The customer builds the pack in real-time 3D and sees exactly what they are ordering, from the body to the closure and the finish.

Volume pricing, server-side

The unit price drops as the run grows from 500 to 10,000 pieces, computed on the server to your rules and tiers, never visible in devtools.

Print-ready die-line

At the end the customer downloads a print-ready die-line as a PDF, and can upload artwork, so the order carries everything production needs.

Yours, wired into the shop

The finished configuration enters the cart or your CRM as a complete order. The code is yours, data in the EU, no per-order commission.

This is my own demonstrator, built so the mechanics stop being a promise. Open it, change the shape, colour and finish, raise the run size and watch the unit price fall, then download the die-line. No sign-up.

What a packaging configurator costs.

A fixed price after a short call, not a range with a hidden "from". One-off, no subscription.

One pack type
from €15,000

A configurator for one pack family: real-time 3D, server-side volume pricing, a print-ready die-line, lead or cart output.

Full catalogue + panel
€25,000 to €50,000

Multiple pack families, artwork upload, an admin panel your staff run, and shop or ERP integration.

A one-off build you own, instead of a per-order packaging-SaaS fee. Full custom-vs-SaaS breakdown on the main configurator page.

Questions buyers ask first.

What can a packaging configurator do? +
The customer builds the pack from shape, colour and finish in real-time 3D, the unit price drops as the run grows from 500 to 10,000 pieces, and at the end they download a print-ready die-line as a PDF. The order arrives complete, so there is no back-and-forth over specs.
How much does it cost? +
From €15,000 for one pack type with real-time 3D and volume pricing. Up to around €50,000 for a full catalogue with an admin panel, artwork upload and ERP integration. A fixed price after a call. The code is yours, no subscription.
Can it handle volume pricing and artwork? +
Yes. The unit price recalculates server-side with the run size, to your rules. The configurator can output a print-ready die-line and accept artwork, so the finished order carries everything production needs.
Where do the 3D models come from? +
If you have dielines or 3D files, we use them. If not, I build parametric pack models, so a box or tube resizes and recolours without a separate render per SKU.

Tell me what you make.

A short note on your packaging range and how you price runs today is enough. I reply within 48h with a fixed quote and a timeline, or an honest "this is not for me".
